You sure can! Currently, you can deposit cash at Walmart Money Centers nationwide.
When you arrive at the retailer with your debit card, let them know at the customer service counter or Money Center that you would like to deposit cash using your debit card. They will ask how much you'd like to deposit and have you swipe or insert your card. That retailer may charge a fee to use this service, but Zeta does not charge a fee from our side for you to deposit cash.
Once you complete the transaction, you will see the deposit in your Zeta account within minutes!
If you experience any issues depositing cash at Walmart, please do not hesitate to reach out to your Concierge. That said, here are some tips that may help you successfully deposit cash:
- Make sure you perform the cash deposit at Walmart MoneyCenter locations. The standard service desk or register at a Walmart may not result in a successful deposit.
- If they ask you what your bank is, or what service to use to deposit the cash, they will likely process it incorrectly. Just let the employee know you want to deposit cash with debit card. You should be asked how much you wish to deposit, and to insert your card into the terminal. You should also be prompted for a billing zip code for the card. That would be your mailing address you have on file with Zeta.
