Zeta never holds your direct deposits. We will post your funds as soon as we receive them from your employer or your benefits provider, on the date specified on your paycheck stub as the 'Pay On' date. The timing of your deposit depends on when the sender of these funds initiates the payment to your Zeta Account. Deposits post Monday-to-Friday throughout the day. If you do not see your direct deposit in your account, it means that we haven't received it yet. We do not support early payroll deposit quite yet, but it is something we are working to support.
As soon as your direct deposit arrives you will receive a push notification (if you're signed up for this service) to let you know that the funds are in your account.
How does direct deposit work?
We always process and post a deposit as soon as we receive it. If you have enabled transaction notifications in the Zeta mobile app, we'll notify you as soon as either of your funds reach your account. If your expected direct deposit isn’t in your account yet, you can contact your employer (or provider) to confirm the time and date that it was sent. When a direct deposit is initiated by your employer or benefits provider, we do not receive the direct deposit instantly. It goes through several steps of processing before arriving at Zeta. These steps are mandatory, and Zeta does not have insight to where your direct deposit may be in this process until it arrives and we post it to your account.
How do bank holidays affect direct deposits?
Zeta observes all federal and bank holidays. On these days, banks are unable to process deposits, which may delay the arrival of a direct deposit until the next day.
